AMGTA Collaborative Research

A series of independently-reviewed lifecycle assessments and analyses produced in collaboration with members and third-party research partners. Each report examines a specific additive manufacturing application and its environmental and resource implications.

These applied research projects preceded and informed the 2026 AM Evaluation Report. They remain reference material — concrete demonstrations of resource-efficiency analysis in specific manufacturing contexts. The evaluation report formalizes the framework this research developed in practice.
