The Additive Manufacturer Green Trade Association (AMGTA) brings together companies throughout the manufacturing ecosystem to promote and elevate the conversation around sustainable additive practices. The organization is dedicated to using these practices as an environmentally beneficial strategy for addressing lead-times, supply chains, waste-streams, energy consumption, technological advancements, and overall environmental and societal impacts.
Additive manufacturing, also known as 3D printing, results in less waste and greater efficiencies than conventional manufacturing, and in many cases can offer greater precision and uniformity.
